Word from the designer:

Hello, 3 years ago we started this program but it was called the B999-1000. It was our first design with GMAX. After lounging almost 30 paints for the b999-1000 it was time to make the next step in design. The plan was to make a plane like the Airbus A380 but with new Boeing technology. The new Boeing 747-1000 needed to have the best technology like the new Boeing 747-8 and the Boeing 787 Dreamliner.

The first start with building the 747-1000 started on 15 October 2006. After almost a half year later the plane was finished. In May we run the 747-1000 out of itís hangar for itís first engine run and taxiing over the runway. Itís first flight was on 17 May 2007. After the test flight we had a lot to do. Adjusting the animations, flaps and the contact points.

After that we started really testing the aircraft to adjust the aircraft-file. The plane had to have a cruising speed of minimal 520 knots on a flight level 350. Also the plane had to have a non stop route from every destination in the world. That makes the 747-1000 (or 747-10) the first plane that can fly non stop on all routes.

For testing we went to Dubai for warm weather testing. A week later we were at the Antarctica winter base for extreme temperatures under -35 degrees. Al test run perfectly.

When testing this the second plane (KLM) was already in the hangar for its paintjob.
On 10 August 2007 the test were completed and the plane was ready for what it was made:

When writing this the first delivery for the KLM is almost ready with itís flight to his new home at Schiphol Airport, Amsterdam Holland.

We know because this is our second time we build an aircraft it all can be better. Thatís why we are still trying to improve the 747-10. With new updates like better animations, textures and other realistic things we hope you enjoy this product as much as i liked to building it.

The 747-10 has 25 bitmaps texture with lots of small bitmaps for still good quality an good framerates. We know the quality of the textures of the fuselage can be better and thatís were we will be working on for itís free updates.

The fuselage contains 2 textures: day an night textures. At night a nice beam will give you a great look of the nose and logo of the plane. Also the seem beam of light will appear on the tail section.

Due itís full up and lower cabin this plane can take 500 passengers in 3 class configuration.
The lower deck has on each side 5 doors. The upper deck has 3 doors.


The engines are brand new General Electric 1000 or the Rolls-Royce. Due to great fuel managements the plane can fly faster, further with less fuel. It can make a non stop flight with a length of 10162 nm. Thatís non-stop from London (England) to Wellington (New Zealand)
These are the same engines for the new 747-8 and the 787 Dreamliner.


The wingtips doesnít have the normal winglets anymore but has a great new look for better aerodynamics. Also we put a nice vertex on it for more realistic effects.


The new gears were also applied on the 999-1000 series. And they were also used on the Boeing 777 series. With 26 wheels this plane is very easy to use during landing. A smooth touchdown for the comfort of the passengers.


The 747-10 has lots of new animations:

Wheels that can roll and the front can steer.
Flaps at the front an back of the wing for better controls during take off and landing.
Speed breaks for fast speed reduce.
Gears that go in very smooth.
Elevators and ailerons for turning and climbing and dissenting.
Pushback truck and stairs.
Engines reversers on all four engines.

Full flaps and speedbreaks


The 747-10 contains 2 highlight beams for itís landing lights.
At each wingtip we put white strobe lights. Also we put the red and green navigation lights there. On the upper deck and below the plane there are two beacon lights.

The beam on the front fuselage will appear at night. It has no effect on switching on or off the landing lights.

The beacon and strobe lights will flicker when turned on.
The navigation lights can be turned on and off.
The landing lights can also be turned on and off.

Take off:

The take off speed is very easy to calculate. Due to itís great lift of the wings and itís 4 great engines the plane is very easy to pull into the sky. Even with 100% of fuel.

We advice to use a minimum trim of 0.7 for a smooth take off. Accelerate to minimal 250 knots and than your free to use the vertical speed.

Always use 5 degrees of flaps for take off. The wings need that extra lift to take off.
After you lost contact with the ground you can adjust the flaps easy back to zero degrees.


For fast flying with great fuel consumption we advice to fly between 30000 and 45000 feet.
Here is a graphic of the overspeed warnings so you know on what level you can fly safe.

On final approach we advice a speed between 150 and 160. With full flaps and the speedbreaks armed you turn the throttle to zero for a nice soft touchdown.
To avoid crashing to soon or to avoid hard landing you need to know the stall speed at the right height.

This is a nice high detailed cockpit with nice sideways looks. It was made by Ken Mitchell.
It contains al kind of new great stuff like new radar for Ai traffic. An overhead panel for the fuel control.

  • All planes are ready and deleliverd. We end this program and we are starting with a new plane. If you still want to fly the 747-1000 you can order the 747-1000 base model for only 4euro's. You have to paint it yourself.
